As we study the Word through the lens of marriage and look for language that points to marriage union, we see a beautiful bridge begin to appear. This is the bridge that carries us safely over the treacherous rapids of man-made religion:

You are dead to sin and free to marry another, the one who raised you from the dead and made you alive to God.
