Prayerful Declarations for the United States of America

Pray for the United States — This is an invitation to all Seers, Prophetic Worshipers and Intercessors to pray and declare with us:

Prayer Declarations over the United States, its citizens and the church at large.
Heavenly Father, we make these declarations in the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ.
We rejoice that the signs of the Third Great Awakening are already here.
We declare that this move of God will bring about a cultural transformation and a return to the values our nation was founded upon.
We declare that the church of Jesus Christ will once again be salt and light to every culture, language and people group in this nation.
We release a fresh baptism of Pentecost fire on the Church of Jesus Christ in America, just as it was poured out upon the early Church.
We turn away from harboring the spirit of legalism, man-made religion and self-righteous pride.
We ask the Spirit of the Lord to come like a mighty wind, sweeping the orphan spirit from our midst, empowering us as God’s children to cry out Abba Father.
We declare the rise of a mighty army of worshipers, who will usher in a righteous shift in the atmosphere of the newly elected congress.
We declare that the new governing leaders will be servants for the good of the people -- not corrupt, self-serving man-pleasers; but lovers of life, justice, compassion and truth.
We declare the spirit of the founding fathers of this nation will prevail over professional politics and the orphan spirit.
We thank the Lord for meeting all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We declare supernatural increase in our gross national product, and by God’s wisdom, favor and special blessing, we will again be a debt free nation.
We declare outstanding breakthroughs in science, technology, medicine and the environment, creating a surge of jobs, businesses and entire new industries
We declare an awakening of witty inventions, ideas from heaven and creativity, producing kingdom revival in the marketplace and a surplus of wealth.
We declare a dramatic decline of the unemployment rate, the end of foreclosure of homes,
and a drastic reduction of the number of welfare recipients.
As we follow our Good Shepherd, only goodness, mercy and unfailing love will follow us all the days of our lives.
We declare that by God’s blessing and the reformation our economy, the United States will continue to be a model of giving to the world’s poor.
We declare that as a nation we will once again covenant to stand in support of Israel according to Genesis 12:3 and Psalm 122.
We also declare that by Your divine protection all of our law enforcement officers will be free from corruption and harm.
Grant them wisdom and authority in the prevention of crime in our cities and towns. We declare our neighborhoods to be crime-free zones.
We declare that this move of God will cause a moral revolution that will end the drug trade and all human trafficking in America.
We declare that the cross of Jesus has formed a permanent barrier, protecting America from terrorist attacks, environmental disasters and racial divisions.
We declare that Your righteousness, peace, and joy will reign from sea to shining sea.
We ask You Lord to extend Your great Grace over the church of America and empower this nation to reach her full destiny.
For the answer of prayers and the establishing our decrees, we give You all the honor and the praise and the glory in Jesus’ Name, AMEN.

Prayer Initiative

May 6, 2010 -- When the Lord told Elijah to stand in His presence, immediately there came a great wind, an earthquake, and a fire; but the Lord was not in them. He came to Elijah afterwards, speaking through a gentle whisper.

The Lord of the Angel Armies personally disclosed Heaven’s battle plans with His own breath. Elijah was to anoint two kings and a prophet -- there was to be a changing of the guard, God had provided the defeat of the enemy.

Last November, along with several Washington DC churches and house of prayer ministries, we gathered in our nation’s capital for a week of intercession for the United States of America. Leaders who love life were elected into office in both of the states we were praying for; we had a landslide victory and the freedom bell began to ring.

That night we began to hear the Lord’s holy whisper – I have a plan to shift your nation back onto its righteous course. The vision unfolded and we saw a new Congress filled with humble yet strong leaders.

In just six months, the United States midterm elections will be held. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 36 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested. The Lord has already chosen men and women that He wants in these governmental positions. He has picked leaders with hearts that are filled with the values of Heaven—those who love life and justice, compassion and truth.

Next week we will launch a prophetic summit and prayer initiative from Boston, which will continue nationwide through the 2010 elections on November 2nd. With Patricia King and Bobby Conner already on site with us in Boston, the prophetic summit will include Chuck Pierce, Danny Steyne, Jan Painter and many more joining by live video-conference.

We believe that Boston is a significant location with a significant history. During our last visit, hunger and unity in the body were high, and the surprise election of Senator Brown shortly afterwards was a miracle heard around the world. We are returning there next week with high anticipation for what the Lord wants to do.

Just as the Lord raised Anna and Simeon to identify the Messiah, we are calling on all prophetic seers and those who carry the spirit of intercession to pray and point to the God-appointed chosen ones who will lead our nation into its divine destiny.
